De Sede Exclusive Collaboration with Couturier Varun Bahl

Varun Bahl has collaborated with De Sede India, a premium leather brand to launch the most coveted luxury hand bag collection.

Sede is known for its intricate, connecting and decorative seams, it promises bags which speak to a global audiance on a look for everything stylish and chic. Every bag has been manufactured in Klingnau, Switzerland and every detail exudes a relentless commitment to quality.

Over the past couple of years leather brand de Sede, which started of as a small workshop has graduated to become a leading name in furniture design and retails out of 69 countries including United States of America and Russia.

“We only enter in a market when we find dedicated people. So we launched our furniture in India few years back and have seen an excellent response and we are very confident that the handbag collection will also be well received and appreciated in India.” says Mrs. Monika Walser, CEO, de Sede Switzerland.

Keeping the bridal market in mind, de Sede also marked its partnership with ace couturier Varun Bahl; the result was a beautiful potli bag blending de Sede’s craftsmanship with leather and Bahl’s love for everything intricate.

“We decided to collaborate with an Indian designer who represents the ethos of Indian art and marries it with the de Sede philosophy and strength in leather.” added Walser. “We hope to jointly create iconic products which will be known for generations just like our furniture.”

De Sede handbags and accessories will be available in India at de Sede stores and Luxury boutique stores across India along with online luxury platforms like Tata Cliq Luxury and Elitify. 

The collection will be priced at a range starting from INR 8,900 to INR 3 crores for limited edition bags.
